In 2020, ASR initiated establishment of the Australian Digital Trade Form to help lead implementation of recommendations made by industry in the Government’s Services Export Action Plan.
The Services Export Action Plan recognised the need to build a coordinated voice to represent Australian digital trade/e commerce interests, and broaden understanding of developments in the WTO and APEC as well as bilateral and regional Free Trade Agreements and Digital Economy Agreements.
These informal by-invitation only boardroom sessions are key opportunities for networking, education and policy advocacy on digital trade and e-commerce issues.
